After his running mate's murder, a controversial televangelist becomes Argentina's presidential candidate. But nothing about him is as holy as he seems.
El Reino is a political thriller that weaves faith, power and campaigning tightly together. It builds tension through investigation, conversation and moral gray areas rather than action. The Argentine setting and a televangelist at its center give it its own uneasy tone.
Good for you if you like political dramas with a crime plot and a dark atmosphere.
