Minnie's old friend, Mortimer Mouse, drops in on Mickey and Minnie's picnic. His practical jokes and coming on to Minnie soon have Mickey stewing, and their car isn't happy either. When Mortimer gets a nearby bull enraged and takes off, the car comes to the rescue after Mickey gets tangled up in a red blanket.
A short 1930s cartoon that leans entirely on a simple love triangle and slapstick. The pace is quick, the gags come in rapid succession, and the car almost gets a personality of its own. You can watch it casually and laugh without having to think along.
Good for you if you like classic Disney shorts with slapstick and small jealousy stories.
